The Client

The Ottica Vason, the trusted optician residing in the heart of the Turin area. They are a local family business that has been open for almost 100 years now. Their communication is very light and friendly but equally informative.

The Objective

One of the clients whose social media aspect I have taken care of the most is definitely Vason. From drafting the editorial calendar to designing and creating content for the social channels.

Conclusions

As social media manager for Ottica Vason, I created an engaging social media strategy by writing the editorial calendar and devising and creating original content, recurring series and interactive content for engagement. I am proud of the results achieved in promoting this local company.

Content for engagement

One of the important aspects for social is definitely the interaction with one’s customers. So it has been my concern to often include content with quizzes, polls, and questions of various kinds to increase engagement. Here on the side you can see a sequence of stories showing the irony of the brand.

The focuses on the history

Among the various series created, the Focus on History is definitely one of the most interesting. I have covered various topics: from Murano glass to the first lenses but also Renaissance eyewear fashion or the first glasses from the Eskimos.

Other projects

I initially found Marketing for a finance company to be complex: finding a way to communicate in an interesting way to the customers on social media, breaking away from the usual fiscalisms, was a key element of the task.
MeLaSpasso definitely needed a new image, and, the image of a travel agency, is really important to convey to possible customers a sense of adventure and reliability.
